About Us
Welcome to Senior Engagement, a 501(c)3 Non-Profit group. This group is
meeting the needs of our community by providing resources and support to those
looking to connect with the Seniors in our community. We will be sharing ideas of
ways to keep the Seniors in our community engaged and creating ways to
implement our goals. We will primarily focus on Seniors who are currently
living/isolating in our local Senior Living Facilities and Nursing Homes - we also
occasionally adopt groups that are not all Seniors, but can still benefit from our

Our history
Senior Engagement was born out of a love for our community and a love
for our seniors and at-risk adults. Our project started in November of 2020
when many of us, even masked, were somewhat isolated. Seniors in care
centers, nursing homes, adult living facilities as well as many in community and/or home based mental health facilities; we also spread some love, joy and hope to area rehabilitation centers. By Christmas of 2020, just 6 weeks after calling our community together with a Facebook post, we managed to assign team leaders/teams to 23 facilities
Our mission
Facilitating and organizing community volunteers to serve the
emotional and physical needs of Senior Citizens and other at-risk
adults through thoughtful gifting and meaningful engagement.
